A RAS basically consists of a tank section, a water treatment section with numerous processes, technical rooms and storage which are all housed in, normally, an insulated steel clad building. Civil works, i.e. concrete constructions and the building is cost wise a very large part of a RAS turn-key project.

A high priority for IAA is to minimize costly concrete works. This is reflected in our compact design for the RAS water treatment section.

There are many criteria for choice of a building: geographical area, local legislative issues to mention a few. IAA always utilize advice from local bodies and put priority on local supply if available and competitive.

All civil works and erection of building is carried out under strict guidelines and supervision from IAA.
