It is only recently with the focus on waste management and zero discharge solutions, that the advantages of incorporating de-nitrification in a RAS has been fully appreciated. 

Apart from above, the original purpose of de-nitrification with respect of reducing NO3 within a RAS and with the associated make-up water/heat/cooling savings must not be under estimated. De-nitrification is today considered one the most important processes in a RAS in the general management of water.

IAA have long tradition of working with de-nitrification, both in RAS as well as NO3 removal in other types of wastewater and can offer the ultimate in de-nitrification design.
